Farhad Fakhreddini’s latest work commissioned by the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO titled “Haft Vaadi” is in its final stages of production.
“This orchestral composition by Professor Farhad Fakhraldini is to be finalized soon,” said Secretary General of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, Dr. Hojjatullah Ayoubi. “It is titled Haft Vaadi (meaning seven valleys) and it has been composed as several movements for a symphony, choir, soloist, and narrator.”
Due to the inclusion of Attar Neyshabouri in the list of figures UNESCO will commemorate in 2021, “Haft Vaadi” is based on the story of Attar Al-Tair region. Its recording process will soon begin with the help of performances by the External Symphony of Radio and TV.
