The group photo exhibition of ” Hawraman, fringing the skies ” will be held on Thursday, 1 October 2020, at the Iranian Artists Forum. This exhibition is organized by the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, in cooperation with the Image of the Year Festival and Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism.
The group photo exhibition of ” Hawraman, fringing the skies “, initiated by the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO and in cooperation with the Image of the Year Festival, Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism and Kermanshah Provincial Government, will be held at the Iranian Artists Forum from 1 to 7 October 2020 .
This exhibition, which is held simultaneously with the registration of Hawraman region on the UNESCO World’s Heritage list, showcases 70 selected photos of 35 professional photographers, especially photographers from Kermanshah and Kurdistan provinces, whose photos provide unique images of nature, architecture, people’s daily lives and unique rituals of “Pirshalyar Wedding” and “Palangan”.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at 5:00 PM on Thursday, 1 October, in the presence of Dr. Hojatollah Ayoubi, Secretary General of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, and “Dr. Hossam Mahmoud Mehdi Ali”, the Egyptian evaluator of UNESCO, who is currently visiting Hawraman.
The exhibition will be open for the public by following hygiene procedure.
