5th session of the 13th round of the Iranian National Committee for the International Geoscience and Geoparks Programme (IGGP)- 30 January 2017
On 30 January 2017, the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO hosted the 5th session of the Iranian National Committee for IGGP of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO.
The Meeting was host to the members of the Committee, who discussed the five-item agenda, including the action plan of the Committee, the need for establishing a task group for project implementation and potential sites for nomination as Geoparks.
Additionally, it was decided to have the meetings of the IGGP committee held on a monthly basis at the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO.
This 5th session lasted for three hours, beginning at 13:30 pm and terminating on 16:30 pm.
